He never lost! French judoka, Teddy Riner, is famous for his incredible record ! The sportsman has not lost a single fight for almost 10 years! But how many has he won consecutively ?
Big Ted already has everything of an unbeatable judoka with a build of 2m04 for 139 kg ! This sportsman does not know defeat, ... well almost. In fact, he has only 3 defeats to his credit. Teddy won for 9 years of his life (from 2010 to 2019) all his games and tirelessly. After 154 consecutive victories and a break of 1 and a half years after his tenth world title, he lost for the 3rd time in his career to Japanese judoka, Kokoro Kageura, on February 9, 2020 in Bercy !
Teddy Riner is simply the most successful sports athlete in his category (+100 KG). He holds numerous records, notably that of precocity (world champion at 18) and the number of titles won. He is the record holder of the world championships won with ten titles ! He was also twice crowned Olympic champion, a record also (in 2012 in London and in 2016 in Rio)
